This is really my first “Family Life” post on here.
I started this blog to escape and relax from the fast paced world.
I’ve been posting a lot on the beauty side of this blog, so now I’m going to introduce you to my lil family.
I have an almost 14-year-old daughter, Jovaly Victaysha and a 7-year-old son, Jules Valentino and a 8-year-old male Maltese pup, Gizmo.
Ever since I was a kid I knew I wanted to have kids of my own and a pure white pup. I have exactly what I wanted.
I was born in the Philippines and left there when I was 5 then moved to Florida.
I’m also in the United States Air Force. I’ve been serving for 16 years now. I can’t believe it has been that long already. I’ve been stationed in England, Texas, Germany, and now stationed back home in Florida.
I was a quite kid until I became a teenager. I loved sports and was a tom boy for the longest.
Well, back to my lil family……
I have seriously been blessed with my kids. I’m not saying this being bias, but they are seriously well-behaved. They have never to my knowledge thrown a temper tantrum. Well, actually my daughter has. When she was born, she always had this one blanket that she always had to have. She was the epitome of Linus from Peanuts. She had that blanket with her until she was 4 years old. She finally gave it up to her best friends sister when she was born. That’s another reason why she’s so awesome. She gave her security blanket away to someone who she cares about. She still remembers to this day about her blankey.
With Jovaly, she finally started sleeping through the night, the night before I had to go back to work. With Jules on the other hand, he didn’t sleep through the night without having to sleep on my chest until he was 10 weeks old.
They’re not the average kids where on the weekends they wake up at the crack of dawn and wake you up. They let me sleep in and still do to this day.
Being a single momma, sleep is important.
My daughter even wakes up before I do during the week and has my coffee ready for me for when I wake up.
I’m always receiving compliments on how well-behaved they are. When we’re out and about, they don’t run around or cause any scenes.
I have truly been blessed.
My son is such a mommas boy and I LOVE IT!
I plan to make sure he is raised to treat women respectfully and to be independently strong.
I can’t believe how time flies by so fast. I cherish every single moment with them. There’s never a dull moment in our house.
We are always either dancing like no one is watching us, watching movies together, cooking together, playing games, etc.
I try to give them as much love as I can to make sure they know they are loved. I have to do double duty with them playing the mommy and daddy role. Just because their fathers aren’t in the lives, I want them to feel loved beyond belief.
