Tatcha Indigo Soothing Silk Hand Cream

Tatcha Indigo Soothing Silk Hand Cream

Tatcha soothing hand silk cream

What Tatcha has to say about the Indigo Soothing Silk Hand Cream:

WHAT IT IS:

Rich in anti-inflammatory Indigo, liquid Silk and Squalane, TATCHA’s INDIGO Soothing Silk Hand Moisturizer Cream softens and soothes irritated skin.

WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT IT:

The stems, leaves and petals of the Indigo plant are steeped in water and fermented to make a concentrated botanical extract. Tryptanthrin and indirubin actives help reduce irritation and promote skin’s natural healing abilities. The natural blue hue disappears upon application. Due to the natural botanical extract, the shade of Indigo may vary; the efficacy of the formulation remains the same.

WHAT SKIN TYPE CAN USE IT:

Any skin type, especially sensitive, inflamed or irritated skin consistent with symptoms of dermatitis, eczema and rosacea.

What I have to say on Tatcha’s Indigo Soothing Silk Hand Cream:

First off let’s talk about the packaging.

Tatcha soothing hand silk cream

Tatcha has the HANDS DOWN, in my opinion BEST luxury beauty packaging that I’ve encountered. Each product that I’ve received is always beautifully packaged. Along with PR samples and the Tatcha products that I’ve bought, they always come with a hand written note. I don’t know of another company that takes the time to do that with each order. That right there tells me that they really do appreciate us as clients and enjoy what they do.

Color of the cream.

Tatcha Indigo Soothing Silk Hand Cream

As Wikipedia states: Indigo is a color that is traditionally regarded as a color on the visible spectrum, as well as one of the seven colors of the rainbow: the color between blue and violet.

The Japanese Indigo plant is where it gets its blueish hue from.

Tatcha Indigo

Don’t get discouraged by the color though, it won’t dye your hands. The color disappears as you rub your hands together and massage it in.

The feel/consistency:

It comes out of the beautifully packaged tube smoothly, it’s a semi-thick cream. As the name has silk in the name, it literally melts into your skin as you massage it on your hands and the indigo color dissolves.

Your skin will feel so silky and smooth. With me ALWAYS having my fingernails painted and manicured up, my hands needs to be smooth, nourished, and healthy looking. I also use this to massage into my cuticles.

You only need a little cream to apply. With all of Tatcha’s skin care products, a little goes a long way. Which is great considering the price tag that goes along with it.

Price:

Tatcha 60ml’s of heavenly goodness for $38

Tatcha 10ml’s travel size for $8

Again, this is a luxury skin care line but I don’t mind it because the products are definitely worth it and it comes packaged beautifully.

Tatcha Soothing Silk Hand Cream

Scent:

There is no artificial scents included in any of Tatcha’s products but it does have a soft scented spa-like aroma to them. I love it but my nose can’t figure out what it exactly smells alike too.

OVERALL VERDICT:

HANDS DOWN the most nourishing and soothing hand cream that I own. Even though I received this for free, I would definitely order more of this, as I have with Tatcha’s other products.

With me working in a clinic setting, I’m having to use hospital hand sanitizers throughout the day that’s loaded with drying alcohol in it. Having my handy Tatcha Soothing Silk Hand Cream always soothes my hands.

If you’re on the fence on ordering this, they have a travel size that you can test out first before you order the full size.

HAVE YOU TRIED ANY OF TATCHA’S SKIN CARE PRODUCTS?

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SO FAR?

Until next time,

xoxo

Konjac facial sponge

100% natural Original Pure Konjac Facial Sponge

konjac facial sponge

MY Konjac Sponge are made exclusively with the konjac fiber, a pure vegetable fiber taken from the root of the Amorphophallus Konjac plant.
Konjac plant, also known as konnyaku potato or elephant yam, is a plant that is native to eastern Asia.
Konjac root is rich in minerals, vitamins, and it has been traditionally used as a beauty treatment for a long time in eastern Asia.

This year Konjac sponges have been all the rage.

But once you pick one up and open it, it first comes as this hard piece of weird looking thing. You wonder, “They expect me to use this on my skin?”

Worry not! These bad boys turn into the softest yet firm piece of material. It just soaks the water up!

What you’re going to do when you open up the package is get it soaked into some water. It starts to expand into a nice sponge. Not your typical sponge though. It’s almost hard to explain how it feels. It’s almost like a very smooth & soft rubbery feel. In a good way.

You can use it by itself with no cleanser or with cleanser. It’s all up to you.

It’s great as an exfoliate. It helps with clearing out your pores and getting that gunk out. It’s cleans your skin so good that your moisturizer just soaks into your skin afterwards.

It’s gentle enough for your whole face and the one I’m using here fits perfectly in my hand to where I can cup it and move it around my face and around my eyes and nose.

Konjac sponge

Excuse my breakouts and close-ups.

Zoya Blair nail polish

 Zoya Blair Nail Polish

Blair by Zoya

If you’re looking for some great Fall shades to dress up your fingernails, than Blair by Zoya is one you should pick up.

Blair by Zoya can be best described as a blackened red wine with a satiny smooth metallic shimmer. This cool-toned, vampy shade has a undeniably mesmerizing depth!

The picture above is without the camera flash.

I always tend to apply two coats of nail polish, that way I get the true to bottle color.

After my two coats of Zoya Blair, I applied my Seche Vite top coat. Seriously, if you don’t have Seche Vite top coat, you are definitely wasting time sitting pretty while you wait for your nails to dry. I’m jus’ sayin’!

Below is with the camera flash and you can see the shimmer in the Blair nail polish.

ABOUT ZOYA NAIL POLISH & TREATMENT

Art of Beauty was founded in 1986 by Zoya and Michael Reyzis. They had a shared vision, which evolved from a small nail salon into a spa focusing on natural nails, skin care and alternative European herbal treatments. Today, the company has grown to become a manufacturer of the most innovative professional beauty products ever created. Our brands include Zoya, Qtica, Smart Spa and Zoom.

Zoya, originally a classical pianist in Russia, earned her Cosmetology license in 1979 when she and her husband Michael immigrated to the United States. While pianist jobs were limited, the world of cosmetology offered a new profession and a means by which to build a new career. Through Zoya’s hard work, and a demand for quality and healthy, natural ingredients for her clients, it became evident that there was a need for the perfect products. Responding to his wife’s requests. Michael, an advanced chemist, developed and patented unique products such as anti-wrinkle treatments and shampoo and conditioning treatments for the salon & spa. He also created the first working fast drying topcoat and the longest wearing, toxin free natural nail polish, revolutionizing the nail industry.

Today, Zoya, Michael and everyone at Art of Beauty focus on creating the highest quality products available to professional salons and spas. Through brands like ZOYA Nail Lacquers, QTICA Treatments and QTICA SMART SPA, Art of Beauty offers salons and spas superior quality, convenience and incredible value. As the first to remove toxic ingredients such as toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin and DBP (dibutyl phthalate) from its formulations, Art of Beauty maintains its focus on the health and well being of salons, spas and consumers.

Art of Beauty also manages www.artofbeauty.com, www.zoya.com, www.qticasmartspa.com and www.qtica.com.

Beyond the Zone Rock on Blue Color Bombz

Beyond the Zone Rock on Blue Color Bombz

Beyond the Zone Rock on Blue Color Bombz

I’m not the only one in my house that loves to get made up. Here’s my little mommas boy.

I love this little man to pieces. He’s a little rocker dude.

When we were all out picking some things at Sally Beauty supply store, he picked up this bottle of Beyond the Zone Color Bombz hair color spray in Rock on Blue.

He wanted to have a blue mohawk.

It was only $6.29 and it’s not a permanent hair color so I purchased it for him.

He was so excited when we got home he got everything ready and styled his hair and told me exactly how he wanted me to spray it in his hair. He’s such a diva!

The can said to shake the product real good and hold it upright and hold it at least 12 inches away from the hair.

Make sure your hair is dry before spraying this on.

It’s a temporary color so anyone can use this for a night out, color runs if you’re into running and dressing the part, and for your rocker kids.

When you’re done spraying the Color Bombz spray as you so desire, if there is any that got on your skin, it’s easy to remove by just getting a damp wash cloth or wet napkin and removing  the product from your skin or from your fingers if you’re spraying it on someone else’s hair.

Let the Beyond the Zone spray dry then to keep the color and the style stay, just get your regular hairspray and spray it.

Viola!

Beyond the Zone Rock on BlueBeyond the Zone Rock on BlueBeyond the Zone Rock on Blue

He thinks he’s just SO cool! Can you tell?

Beyond the Zone Rock on Blue

He couldn’t wait to show his friends at school the next morning.

He was already deciding how he was going to sleep so he doesn’t mess up his hair.

When he woke up, he went straight to the bathroom to see how his hair was. Diva I say!!

When he got home from school,  he couldn’t wait to tell me how many of his school friends loved his hair.

Sorry parents if your kids came home and wanted y’all to go out and buy this for them.

It comes right out when you take a shower. So after his hair dried from taking a shower, he came to me running with the Beyond the Zone spray bottle and insisted I do it all over again.

The joys of parenthood.

You can buy the Beyond the Zone hair color sprays at Sally Beauty supply stores.

Have you used any of the Beyond the Zone color sprays or any of the products in their line?

xoxo
