The Perfume that I’ve Been Loving!
MAC Shadescent Creme d’Nude
If you’ve been following me for a while, then you know I love me some MAC products. I post my recent discoveries and MAC beauties on my Instagram, pretty much all the time. I was especially excited to see them come out with this announcement.
MAC Cosmetics came out with a perfume collection called Shadescents back in November 2016 that is inspired by their most iconic lipstick shades. A total of six, so if you’re a fan of MAC Ruby Woo, Creme d’Nude, Velvet Teddy, Candy Yum Yum, My Heroine, or Lady Danger, then you have to go out and try them.
The one that sounded like something I would wear was Creme d’Nude. It’s described as a scent capturing the vibrant sexiness of clean, radiant glowing skin through a cocoon of velvet musk.
On one of my online shopping orders, I was able to choose a sample size of this to try. Which was awesome because my local MAC didn’t have them in the store yet. I didn’t want to buy the full bottle without smelling it and then be stuck with it.
Creme d’Nude has notes of amber, musk, vanilla, caramel, neroli, and suede.
These are all aromas that I look for in a perfume.
I’ve been wearing this ever since it released and I get compliments daily from friends and strangers. It always feels good when men notice and compliments me on my scent. It always puts a smile on my face.
I’m on my second bottle now and I always have the bottle in my purse with me. The last time I went to my local MAC counter, I literally screamed, “OMG, y’all finally have it!”
The bottle contains 50 ml’s (1.7fl oz) of the most smooth, soft, and sweet-smelling goodness. It makes me feel confident and sexy.
The only thing that I think they can improve on is the actual print and label on the bottle. The black MAC imprint on the front of the bottle fades and disappears and the label on the bottom of the bottle, looks like a generic black sticker that we can print at home that also fades. You can see on the picture below on the bottom sticker, how the sides of it already turned white and this is a brand new bottle. Other than that, I’ll continue to have this MAC Shadescent in my perfume collection for now on out.
